Refund Policy

We want you to get value from Specter. This policy explains when you can request a refund and how the process works.

1. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription period on any plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial charge. No justification required.

Refunds under the guarantee are available once per customer and do not apply to renewals.

2. Prorated refunds on renewals

If you cancel a monthly subscription after renewal and believe the renewal was inadvertent (for example, you intended to cancel and did not realize the renewal occurred), contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge and we will issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of the billing period.

3. Annual plans

Annual plans may be refunded within 14 days of the initial charge under the money-back guarantee. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but you retain full access through the end of the term.

4. Enterprise plans

Enterprise plans are governed by the terms of the relevant order form or master services agreement. Refunds are handled on the terms of that agreement.

5. Exceptions — no refund

Refunds are not available for:

  • Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Usage of the free plan (no charge was made).
  • Requests made more than 14 days after the initial charge, except as described in section 2.
  • Chargebacks filed without first contacting us — please reach out so we can resolve the issue directly.

6. How to request a refund

Email billing@loadstar.lab from the address associated with your account. Include the charge date and amount. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

7. Service credits

If a service incident materially impacts your ability to run audits, we may offer service credits in lieu of a refund, applied to your next billing period.
